Spring is upon us, and for many young adults in college, that means it is time for Spring Break. It is a time to get away from school and to just relax. It is a time for fun in the warming sunlight and weather. However, it is not a time to cause more trouble simply for the sake of “letting go.”
You definitely do not want to cause trouble when you are out having fun. Causing trouble, can get yourself or someone else hurt, and could someone could end up in jail. Nobody wants to get arrested, so if you plan on drinking, remember to do so responsibly.
If you are going to be drinking, assign a designated driver, or spend a little extra use a transportation service such as Lyft or Uber. This way, no one will be driving drunk and risk causing an accident. By doing this, you will be keeping yourself, and other drivers, safe on the road.
On top of being safe and not getting yourself into trouble, you do not want to cause trouble for others either. In recent weeks images have surfaced showing the aftermath of Spring Break beach parties. These disheartening images show beaches littered with unimaginable amounts of trash. If you plan to go out and have, set a good example and clean up after yourself. If you don’t, the trash will end up in the environment where it can cause all kinds of trouble for the local wildlife.
